Overview of Argyll’s Safety Policy
It is the policy of Argyll Ltd. that all employees should be provided with a safe and healthful working environment free of recognized safety and health hazards that may affect their health and well-being. To this end, Argyll Ltd. subscribes to the following policy in conducting all its business activities:
- All accidents are preventable through implementation of effective Safety and Health Policies and Practices integrated with the overall management of our business.
- Safety and health protection of employees takes precedence over productivity; it is good business, it prevents human suffering and increases profits.
- Employees should be educated and trained to identify, evaluate and control safety, health and environmental hazards to protect themselves, other workers, and company property.
- Employees are responsible for following the company’s Safety and Health Policies, Procedures and Safe Work Practices at all times.
- Management shall annually review the safety performance and working environment and take corrective action to ensure that our work activities are in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, and company policies, goals and objectives.
Alignment and Structure
At Argyll, we continually evaluate our operations and controls and strive to make our organization the best in the industry. The Safety Team is structured to operate under one umbrella providing a strategic link and support function between Corporate Risk Management and Argyll’s local business units to assure that the risk management safety priorities are providing impact through an engaged approach.

Argyll recognizes that its most valuable asset is its employees. Argyll is dedicated to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees at work and at home. By demonstrating and communicating the importance of safety information with families and clients, Argyll’s safety culture extends beyond its job sites and offices and out into the community at large.
Standards, Policies and Guidelines
Argyll strives to continually improve and identify risk while creating and enforcing the programs to reduce that risk whether through a best practice, new guideline, or policy. This results in a successful track record of bridging the company’s safety standards, with the reality of on-site project operations further supporting and driving the message to all level of field and project staff.
Environmental Health and Safety
Environmental health and safety is an integral part of risk management at Argyll, responsible for oversight and implementation of the company’s health and safety programs. Creating a safe and healthy work environment is a part of Argyll’s dynamic culture and one of the organization’s most central guiding principles. Argyll will not compromise the health and safety of its people. Argyll employees look out for each other and all employees share in the organization’s goal of zero incidents.
